Are you truly living?
I’m poking my head out after taking some time off, following a few very intensive months. I reached a point where I was forced to answer an inner question, simmering for weeks, months. Actually years.
Are you truly living?
We can often talk about spirituality and this can become a big part of what we do. Talk….
Yet are we truly living it?
Healing is often seen as the main part of spirituality. Yet it’s just one part…
I say this as a healer!
Life isn’t meant to be just about what you are healing.
You are far more than what you need to heal.
You are far more than your story…
Healing is an initiation, a doorway to open into a new reality where you can enjoy your life better.
There is always something to heal, something to learn from, something to grow from. However it can be difficult to live in this world if we are always looking at the next part within to remedy, or upgrade or change.
One of the hardest parts of this journey is to learn how to live with the so-called flaws we already have.
To create a life(style) that is already balancing us rather than a life that we need to heal from.
There’s an analogy of a garden.
Where each part of the garden represents different parts in your life: Career, Relationships, Financial, Health, Self Care, Hobbies, Fun…The list goes on.
However the question becomes,
Which parts are in desperate need of watering?
Which parts have been neglected?
Which parts are taking all of your energy?
How do you balance it out?
It always seems illogical to do something that is not needed. Self care usually falls into this category.
Yet I would say, so does Joy and just enjoying life and doing things for no ‘spiritual’ reason at all…
So I leave you with the question that has been liberating me,
Are you truly living?
